PEAR heads on tour across Canada for the 2012 summer festival season with feature appearances from BC to Ontario, on country and roots stages.

PEAR was nominated for two, 2012 Association of Country Music in Alberta Awards - Fan's Choice and Group of the Year. They performed at the Awards after party, and introduced featured performers Hey Romeo.

They closed out 2011 as featured performers on the Canadian Country Christmas Tour, making stops across Western Canada.

Denis won two 2011 CCMA Awards for Fiddle Player, and Special Instrument (Mandolin) Player of the Year, for his work with PEAR, Deric Ruttan, Jake Mathews and a host of others.

500 industry members witnessed PEAR perform at the 2011 Canadian Country Music Association industry brunch, where they earned a rousing standing ovation. They also showcased at the SOCAN Songwriters workshop.

In 2011, their first single release, Take Me With You, hit #43 on the Canadian country charts.

PEAR kicked off 2010 with headlining a tour of China. They crisscrossed the southern half of the country with concert stops in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Kunming and Dongguan.

In 2006, PEAR was awarded a New Artist Showcase at the Canadian Country Music Awards. The duo’s performance so impressed CMT Canada that they asked PEAR to be a part of ‘Plucked’, a documentary style television show that aired on the network.

The band has opened for a truly diverse group of performers including Alanis Morrisette, Alan Jackson, Moby, Barenaked Ladies, Tim McGraw, Martina McBride, Tammy Wynette, Paul Brandt and Counting Crows.
