Pearl Handled Revolver have the Blues. Not the tired, cliched, mournful Blues sat on a porch bemoaning hard luck, bad signs and ill fated liaisons at crossroads. Nor the 12 bars hammered into mediocrity and engrained like spilled beer and nicotine in the carpets of pubs up and down the country.

No. Pearl Handled Revolver peddle Blues that gatecrash your head and your heart and won't leave until you've abandoned all your inhibitions, sweated out the bad times, re-discovered the wild eyed stare of those utterly in the moment and danced, not because you wanted to, but because you had to.

The Blues isn't about history, safety, tradition and convention. It permeates everything. It's primal, visceral, raw and dirty and you WILL be moved.

Pearl Handled Revolver have the Blues. Come get some.

Welcome To The Unveiling Of Our Long Awaited Video For “Today Was The Day”.
We have always been ambitious with every project we have taken on. From our early attempts to create authentic, extravagant live performance shows, our meticulous devotion to delivering that rare quality to our recordings, right down to our almost obsessive drive for the most inspiring cover art to package our musical offerings. So when the time came to produce a full length feature presentation of one of our most treasured gems, we had no choice but to pull out all the stops.... to film, what we hoped, would be the perfect narrative to a song that continues to mean so much to so many.
“Today Was The Day”, while carrying a deeply personal message, had become a universal anthem for all our fans. A song to which we all had attached our own definitions and interpretations. We present this film to you in the hope that it’s ambiguous nature opens as many doors as possible from our lexicon to yours. Enjoy.

Lee Vernon (Lead Vocals / Harmonica / Lyrics) has been a front man for a number of blues rock outfits for many years, from tours across Europe (St.Tropez, Monaco, Germany, Holland) to performing at the 2008 International Tennis Tournament in Dubai alongside some of the world's finest musicians . An experienced blues man with a stage presence to match, who is also carving a name for himself as a commercial songwriter. Lee's voice was built for rhythm and blues , delivered with a soul that tells you he means every word. He'd be the first to admit that he plays the harp like he sings,with soul... .. Simon Rinaldo (Organ / Electric Piano / Producer) is a tremendous keyboard player with a unique style honed by many years of performing and is an experienced studio producer in his own right. Formerly of Bowfinger (Bedfordshire's Mod / Ska sensation), Simons talents have always been in great demand; from numerous professional sessions both in the studio and live (alongside artists such as Chrissie Hinde, Roy Wood, Alicia Keys, Ocean Colour Scene, Cheap Trick, The Fall, The Quireboys and Andrew WK to name a few) to appearances on BBC's Top of The Pops, but never too far from his love of dirty blues. Simons aggressive Hammond Organ licks and delicate Rhodes intervals breathe life into the Pearl Handled Revolver sound. .. .. Andy Paris (Guitar) Take a natural propensity for "Rail-Road" rhythms, add to that the ability to create unforgettable hooks and your just getting close. After an already posthumous career with his previous band The Occasion (supporting artists such as Paul Young and Bowfinger) this guitarist knows how to work a stage. He possess the only thing capable of matching overdriven Hammond….. a Fender Twin Reverb and "THE BLUES". .. .. Oli Carter (Bass Guitar/Acoustic Guitar) from his earlier performances with Bowfinger, he was certainly a musician to look out for! More than just a charismatic bass player, Oli has given inspiration to tracks like "Rainbow" and "Today Was the Day" with his haunting renditions on Spanish and acoustic guitar. Oli is the roots of Pearl Handled Revolver, he remains a constant driving force in the writing process, a player who raises the bar. .. .. Chris Thatcher (Drums/Guitar/Backing Vocals) Pearl Handled Revolvers newest member. Previously front man/guitarist with retro-stoner rockers Sulfer, Chris takes to the stage behind a drum kit, a very glad we are too.
