Percolator is an Ireland-based trio comprising of Ian Chestnutt (guitar, lead vocals),
Eleanor Myler (Drums, Lead Vocals) and Jason Grant (bass, vocals).
The trio formed in 2008 and has since recorded one EP, Flicker.
The band has made a name for themselves in Dublin, Cork and Waterford
playing support for many international acts such as Deerhoof, Im Manueal,
A Place To Bury Strangers and the Oxford Collapse as well
as many Irish acts such as Katie Kim, Adebisi Shank, Ilya K.
Percolator relies heavily on alternative tunings and their sound often
overlays a repetitive "motorik" beat with male and female vocals sung.
They have often been compared to Autolux, Swervedriver, Stereolab
Pavement, My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth.
Percolator is currently working on a studio album.
The Flicker EP is due for release in November.

THE INTRAVENOUS MUSIC EXHIBITION celebrates the spirit, individuality
and drive of the current crop of waterford based musicians, from singer
songwriters to agents of electronica, with all types of music
represented again this year.
This years Music Exhibition will take place in Waterford's
Garter Lane Arts Centre for one week.
Lunchtime seminars with special guests & gigs will take place
each day at 1pm .
