Biografia reale: Dopo aver suonato in diversi gruppi a partire dal 1996 (tra cui ricordiamo Dogmha,Three Sixty,Free Gas Expansion,Hayley Mills),nel 2005 Perry Frank ha deciso di dedicarsi esclusivamente ai suoi progetti di ricerca musicale ambient e psichedelica. Dal Settembre 2006 Perry è anche chitarrista della band rock-blues iglesiente Cheyenne Last Spirit. Con diversi demotape all'attivo, Perry sta ora ultimando il suo nuovo lavoro di ricerca musicale. Da Aprile 2009 Perry Frank collabora attivamente sia in studio che nei live con Marco Fadda nel progetto MARCO FADDA meets PERRY FRANK, l'uscita del cd, frutto di questa collaborazione, è prevista per Dicembre 2009.

PROGETTO MARCO FADDA meets PERRY FRANK:
Il duo psico-elettronico MARCO FADDA meets PERRY FRANK nasce nell’Aprile 2009 dalla collaborazione artistica di due musicisti di Iglesias: Perry Frank e Marco Fadda.
Entrambi attivi nei loro generi da diversi anni (Psichedelia e Ambient per Perry Frank, Elettronica e New Jazz per Marco Fadda) i due hanno dato vita ad una sorta di connubio originale tra la musica psichedelica e blues degli anni 60 e 70 e la musica elettronica con atmosfere vagamente new jazz e ambient.
Il primo brano frutto della collaborazione è APOKALIPTIKA, prima canzone registrata (uscita come singolo nell’Aprile 2009) il cui video sta riscuotendo grande successo sia Youtube che su Myspace. Sono seguiti altri singoli: CHRONOS, ARABIAN e APHRODITE, usciti nel corso dell’Estate 2009 e tutti facenti parte del cd che vedrà la luce, presumibilmente, verso Gennaio 2010.

ONE LAST STEP TO ETERNITY (Agosto 2006).

Italiano: Dal 2005 Perry Frank si è dedicato esclusivamente ai suoi progetti di ricerca musicale ambient e psichedelica, il cui primo risultato è il CD demo One Last Step to Eternity.
Il CD è stato registrato tra Dicembre 2005 e Agosto 2006 tramite Home Recording (registrazione casalinga).
Tutti gli strumenti sono stati suonati da Perry Frank, tranne la batteria che, in diverse canzoni è stata suonata da Sara C. Ceprenorf.
Il CD contiene 15 canzoni scritte nello stesso periodo di registrazione.
One Last Step to Eternity è strutturato in 3 parti più il Gran Finale composto da 3 canzoni, una delle quali è la title track.
La prima parte è una suite dal titolo Nocturnal Paroxysm divisa in 6 movimenti, alcuni dei quali sono diventati singoli e video pubblicati sullo space e in altri siti come Summer Night Blues e Uncloudy Darkness of Lights.
Il tema è la pazzia, la paura e l'alienazione frutto dei meccanismi perversi e delle subdole regole della nostra società consumistica. La suite è caratterizzata da un'alternanza di momenti sognanti e lunari, e passaggi nell'oscurità dell'inconscio verso paesaggi di luna nuova immersi nel buio e nella desolazione che creano il presupposto per la corsa finale, una sorta di fuga dal mondo...
La seconda parte, composta da 3 canzoni, è incentrata sul ricordo, sulla memoria come unica verità che a fatica sopravvive nei deserti della mente, dalla quale attingere forza per guardare avanti, verso un futuro cupo e devastato protagonista della terza parte, anch'essa composta da 3 canzoni. Il futuro, distante ma vicinissimo, si prospetta sempre meno libero, l'umanità sembra guardare la libertà soltanto attraverso un vetro, senza poterla toccare, ma l'illusione di possederla viene inculcata fin dall' infanzia e sorvegliata dagli strumenti di controllo delle masse (sesso, televisione e religione). Tutto è simile ad una danza di scheletri (uomini) in un cimitero (terra) osservata con lontano e distaccato umorismo dal guardiano notturno (un'improbabile divinità).
Il Finale è composto da 3 canzoni, Remergence, una sorta di pausa di riflessione cullata dalle onde, Surrounding the Tide, il cui tema è l'impossibilità di controllare la marea o il flusso dei pensieri, e One Last Step to Eternity...l'Eternità è un passo, è un attimo, un secondo...un ricordo è Eternità...il nastro si riavvolge continuamente in un ciclo infinito, un ultimo passo verso l'Eternità...

English: Since 2005 Perry Frank was devoted exclusively to his musical research projects for psychedelic and ambient music, whose first result is the demo CD One Last Step to Eternity.
The CD was recorded between December 2005 and August 2006 by home recording.
All instruments were played by Perry Frank, except drums, played in several songs by Sara C. Ceprenorf.
The CD contains 15 songs written in the same period of recordings. One Last Step to Eternity is structured in 3 parts plus the Grand Finale composed of 3 songs, one of which is the title track.
The first part is a suite entitled Nocturnal Paroxysm divided into 6 movements, some of which have become singles and videos published on myspace and other websites as Summer Night Blues and Uncloudy Darkness of Lights.
The theme is madness, fear and alienation result of the perverse mechanisms and rules of our society. The suite is characterized by alternating of dreaming and lunar moments such as Moon Gleams and Summer Night Blues, and passages in the darkness of unconscious toward landscapes of full new moon plunged into dark and desolation that create the basis for the final race, a sort of escape from the world ...
The second part, composed of 3 songs, focuses on reminiscence, on memory as the only truth that hardly survives in the deserts of the mind, from which taking strength to look ahead to a gloomy and devastated future, protagonist of the third part, also composed by 3 songs. The future, distant but so close, appears to be less and less free, humanity seems to see freedom only through a glass, without touching it , but the illusion of being free is inculcated right from childhood and monitored during all our lives. Everything is like a dance of skeletons (people) in a cemetery (Earth) observed with far and detached humor by the Graves Night Watchman (Divinity).
The Finale is composed of 3 songs, Remergence, a kind of pause for reflection cradled by the waves, Surrounding the Tide, whose theme is the inability to control the tide or the flow of thoughts, and One Last Step to Eternity...
Eternity is a step, a moment, a second... a memory is Eternity… the tape rewinds continuously in an infinite loop, one last step toward Eternity ...
