Originally from Portland, Oregon, Pete Miser has been b-boying, bombing, backspinning and battling since hip hop first took seed in the Northwest. As lead vocalist in the live hip-hop band 5 Fingers Of Funk, he helped bring hip hop out of hiding in his hometown and into the limelight. He has traveled the world with his music both as a solo artist and as the dj for Arista recording artist Dido, appearing on Late Night with David Letterman and the MTV Video Music Awards. He currently makes his home in Brooklyn, NY where he is equally busy on the mic, in the studio and on the turntables.
Pete’s latest full-length, Camouflage Is Relative, picks up where his 2002 release, Radio Free Brooklyn left off. The album sets him apart from standard issue m.c.s by exploring themes as diverse as gentrification, lost love and American politics. Pete’s unique, sometimes quirky perspective shines through in his vividly insightful lyrics and a performance style that is “as much fun as hearing stories from that one friend who has seen it all,” according to YRB Magazine. Coupled with sophisticated song arrangements and neck-snapping beats, Camouflage Is Relative is a new school throwback to an era when hip hop was a thinking man’s house party.
"Pete Miser is a multi-talented, multi-cultural B-boy right out of Wild Style…"

“He’s nicer on the mic than all three Beastie Boys put together-flowing effortlessly between self-depreciating humor and cocky bragadoccio, but never coming off like a cheesy cornball.” -XLR8R
“His sound brims with musical fire… "Camouflage Is Relative" is one of the best independently released hip-hop albums of the year.” -Newsday.com
"In a scene where the battle cry is about independence and "keeping it real," Pete Miser stands out as an m.c./producer who takes these values to the extreme. As the owner of his own record label (Ho-Made Media) Pete is responsible for every aspect of his projects, from production to creative design to promotion…"

“What is occurring in our country today is the moral equivalent of war.” It is a civil war of values and ideas, a life and death struggle for the soul of America. God will not forever bless any nation that turns away from him. No nation that allows drugs to make its way from far-off areas to the United States and destroy its families, promote immorality, worship materialism, deify man, remove the knowledge of God, enthrone paganism, and “de-moralize” its teenagers, No nation can do that, and prosper forever. A great moral awakening must take place, or the Lord himself must descend from heaven. In either event, God will not be silent forever!

Yo I am really diggin your music. This is what the industry needs, great talent. And you my friend have it. You really need not let this be just a hobby, this is something that definately will make all your dreams come true. I happen to own a Corporation that is partnered with 1400 FM and 1100 internet stations. And we can get you airplay and you get royalties for every spin.
Imagine your music getting played, not only where you live, but nationwide and worldwide, and getting paid for it.
This is a great way for an Artist to remain Independent, or for and Artist to get found by a major label.
Also if you average 700 spins a week by the end of the first three month block of plays, I can get you a shot at a proposal for a major distribution deal.
Don't miss your chance to get heard and get paid..
And most of all, do not stop making those so to be hits
