The Beatles, The Beach Boys, David Bowie, The Wondermints, Pete Ham. Aside from these blokes, I learned everything about songwriting from folks like Steven Foster, Duke Ellington, Lieber & Stoller, Gilbert & Sullivan, and a ton of other ealry pioneers. My playing style is highly influenced by the work of Scott Joplin.
I also really dig some modern stuff like Richard Swift, Emily Haines, Midlake, Grandaddy, and a few select other popsters.

Hey all, I have been writing music for about 10 years now. I play a bunch of instruments, but mainly I play piano. I play in the band Curtains for You, but also record solo records and have been known to gig by my lonesome now and again.
