So yeah, it turns out this isn't Peter Greenaway's myspace . . . my punk ass started this like three years ago . . . since then I've learned how to play song on the video that's posted.
Re: Greenaways "end of cinema" lectures and so on, though I am in complete agreement, I don't quite understand what his definition of the end of cinema is and more so his alternative concept (interactive multimedia set-up) He states 1983 was the year of the "clicker" (Tv remote) which i'm not sure i understand properly, remote controls were around in the 50's, 60's and very common thru the 70's (they were introduced commercially by Zenith in the 50's) but the invention of the remote control goes all the way back to the 1890's (Tesla) Maybe he just means the remote controlled over-saturation of visual media? I don't think interactive multimedia will ever replace the movie experience, it's a different concept altogether, and he complains about the film viewing experience being a very anti-social, lazy, sedentary process, well I happen to LIKE it for those reasons most of the time! That said I completely 1000% agree Cinema is Dead, and has been for some years now, but for different reasons in my view! (and I think obvious one's at that) It's over for Planet Earth
Bravo to "The Moab Story." I wish the other films in the trilogy were available. Word is that "Vaux to the Sea" is the series high point. As far a "Moab" goes, I was amazed at how nuanced and even sympathetic your portrayal of the Mormons was. If Mitt Romney had any sense, he would approach you for a commercial for his campaign.
