Sounds LikeHere is what a couple of people have said about our sound...

Like a crazy mix of Regina Spektor singing over a less angry Terminator theme.

For some reason this reminds my of a strange mix of Radiohead, Portishead, Lamb, and everyone's favourite 80's film, Tron.

Please tell me i'm wrong - all the above should sound like a musical car-crash, but i'm finding myself unable to turn off.

EP COVER Ad

Peterloo Massacre formed when, in the backroom of a gig in Manchester, Paul offered to remix some of Kin’s songs. Following one session, two new songs and been produced as well as the improvised method that has written all Peterloo Massacre’s material to date.

The name came a bit later and emerged, not so much as a political stance but to commemorate its historical origin Peterloo Massacre and the city in which it occured.

The bass sounds of Colin were elected early on in the bizarrely smooth progress of the band, adding to the already present mix of electronic, jazz and folk landscapes that Peterloo Massacre have the tendency to produce.

Really enjoyed your set last night guys! Must admit I was a little dubious at first when I was told it would be an elctronica-ish night which is not normally my type of music but I'm very happy to say you are a great exception! Looking forward to seeing you all again in May.
