Peter, It's difficult to explain how much I appreciate this record. First off, the way you sing is awesome. Perfect. You can sing everything, every style. For instance, you can sing tense and almost punk-ish, like in "When We're Together" or smooth jazz, almost Al Jarreau, in the silly but fun "Droppin' Trou" or motown/funk, like in "Sister Sunshine." Instead of sounding like imitations, each style sounds to us like it's coming from inside him. Natural, not an affectation. Second, the songs are awesome. I don't understand all what he says in the songs (English not my first language), but I do get that the whole record is a love story, for the beginning to the end. And we can hear the different musical styles following the years (60's, 70's, 80's, etc.), as well providing the proper emotional background for each song. And the short piano & voice songs that are inbetween the main songs tell about this relationship story like it's a bike ride. Third, the arrangements (the French word for this is "producing")... all the little things we hear in the back, and the harmonies are great. So enjoyable ! And then I understand you're playing all the instruments ! Amazing ! Right now I'm listening to the beginning of "Wicked Lies"... Fantastic ! It's like old Pink Floyd. Many other things I wanted to say, but forget... I hope you're working on another record. BRAVO ! paXal

hey man, thanks for the ear vitamins- i suspected i had some kind of audio nutrient deficiency but now i'm sure of it. i will revisit your page often- i hope the solo record will be out before i build up too much of a resistance.
