Wow! I recall my discovery of your music 40 years ago when I was a young adolescent as though it were yesterday.. I was grinning from ear to ear earlier this week when I discovered you once again here on myspace - I am feeling like I am 13 years old again, that's some pretty potent medicine!
Thanks for the add!!

hi mr. Peter Stampfel! thanks a lot for the add - since i first heard "Bird Song" in the Easy Rider movie, when i was 18, yr music has intrigued me and i loved that madness. and hearing yr current work, full of wiseness, playfulness... it's damn good! i think yr work really deserves to be more recognized here in my country, and yr historical importance i think will remains forever.
it has to be changed - see ya!

Mar 3 2008 6:37 AM

Hey Peter!
Remember when I took you to Max's Kansas City to see Wayne County?
When he brought out the toilet you insisted we leave! Har har.
You probably don't remember. That was in the early 70's.
Howzabout when I left my Trashmen album at Antonia's? (I still have the cover, you have the vinyl!)
No?
OK, how about when me and my pal Gene put the Unholys up for a night in Maryland in the late 70's?
We stayed up and jammed in the living room.
It was after the Childe Harolde show.
OK, you gotta remember this'n:
I played bass for you and Parrot for a little while.
Never mind.
LOVE the new documentary!!!
You continue to inspire!!!
