I'M LIKE THIS EVERY DAY is a documentary short about Peter Stubb, the songwriter from Dalton, Georgia, whose obsessions with death metal, werewolves, and Air Supply resulted in his now infamous and unique musical style. He is known to many by his massive output of songs on homemade cassettes, which were passed through southern underground music scenes in the eighties, nineties and zeroes like a tropical venereal disease.
Over time, he has become a semi-legendary figure among musicians and kids in the region - fueled by his continuous release of dark psychedelic death-folk-punk, cassette-only, albums, which passed hand to hand among friends and fans. He is also a controversial figure who has cycled through many phases and personae, at least one of which is totally offensive to your personal world view.
Today, Peter still lives in Dalton, surrounded by weightlifting equipment and Santa Claus toys. He attends outpatient treatment, spends time with his son, takes his medication, and makes music. In his latest album, Stormtrooper Santa Claus, Peter explores his love for the Spirit of Christmas.
