PHOBIA are Zack Gafni & Alon Ron, both born in the year 1983 in Israel , living & producing in their home town Kiryat Ata, located in the northern parts of Israel, near Haifa. The two met in middle school at the age of 15 and became good friends since then. They started their musical relationship as young boys who just want to have some fun with the computer along programs such as Impulse Tracker and more.
At the age of 18 they both joined the army as warriors and after the service Zack & Alon kept the name PHOBIA and started all over again to produce their music using programs as REASON, FRUITYLOOPS, CUBASE, LOGIC, SOUNDFORGE, WAVELAB and more.
PHOBIA learned in "BPM college", few courses as "theory of sound" and "advanced production". After they graduate Zack worked there as an instructor & a tutor and Alon worked in recording studio as recording technician.
These days Phobia produce tight psychedelic /full-on music in their own kind way using Cubase SX2 loaded with VSTi plugins, using a lot of SOUNDFORGE elements as well. PHOBIA's sound based on Mackie HR6 speakers ,RME soundcard and other production elements as well.
PHOBIA team is proud to be a part of the warm family, "Tactic-Records", managed by Leon Gossler aka Tactic-mind, along bombing acts as Toxical , Uniqe , Silent Scream and Mahamudra.

While nowadays it often seems like all the Psy Trance labels either reduce the speed of their releases and turn to more and more body-orientated club sounds or crank up the tempo of their music to rather hectic levels, Solar Tech Records delivers an excellent selection of tunes that keeps the golden mean: With tracks between 142 and 145 BPM the music is powerful, driving and very psychedelic on the one hand but also progressive in the original meaning of the word and does not get stressful or kitschy at any point. For this second compilation label owner DJ Natron extended his network of promising producers from South Africa, Switzerland, UK, Germany and South America and again presents some sparking pearls for original Psychedelic lovers.
