This is a contact for the Phoenix chapter of the Food Not Bombs movement. Food Not Bombs (FNB) is a grassroots movement that believes we could end hunger throughout the world by putting all the resources spent on the war machine into the mouths of the hungry instead. If we spent the same amount of money our government spends on war, on food instead, we could feed every person in the world three meals a day. In addition to opposing war, we are also against the enormous amount of waste americans create. To fight the vast waste of perfectly good food, we salvage food that would otherwise be tossed. If you are interested in preparing food with us, please give us a holler! We encourage anyone to be our friend on here who supports the FNB movement and is interested in cooking and serving with us.

As part of the BARRED FOR LIFE Photography Book Tour, PHXs own The Golden Rule Tattoo will be offering Black Flag "Bars" as their $50 "tattoo of the day" on Sat Nov 7th...all day long! The Golden Rule Tattoo is a fine shop owned and operated by our peers in the punk/HC music community and I couldnt think of a better fit of folks to be involved in this project. So all in all now whats your excuse to not be involved in this once in a lifetime art project.
It's ironic how people put more money on bombs, can't they just invest it for foods and helping out starving countries? I guess it's wishful thinking, but still possible though. Keep thriving.
haha nope, you think i would for having taken foods in high school haha but i would love to learn how to cook eggplant and artichokes, the right way and have them come out right.
Hey Food Not Bombs Phoenix! I'm pretty new to the area and I would love to help out the cause out here. I'm planning on coming down to help this Sunday, is there anyone who I could get in contact with before then?
