Sounds Like
The apes have been listening to lots of lectures on musical theory, harmonic balance, and melodic dissonance; then have been placed in a room with music making computers.
Phylum Sinter is the pseudonym of 28 [born December 26, 1980] year old C.Todd, a Detroit-area native currently living in the outskirts of the City. He has been making music for as long as he's been able to read/write [4-5 days].
When asked on his goals, he had this to say:
"Currently, I am fascinated with the interplay of senses. I continue to explore synaesthetic responses. It is my goal to get to the point where I am comfortable applying the observations made on altering mindstates via sound and rhythm to provoke emotional, mental and physical responses in the listener -- much in the same way film directors or poets can."

::::Re: More for free
-- I realize there are a good amount of people out there that still people prefer to have their music on physical media along with the art and such (stay strong!!). Though it's largely unsaid, standard practice is to give anyone that donates directly to me [via the paypal button above] $5 or greater will receive a thank you gift, usually in the form of self-pressed cd's filled with unreleased tracks, drafts and works in progress, or at least links to some higher quality DRM-free mp3's that you can burn and keep on whatever medium you choose.
Donations of $10 or more will get a pro-pressed cd or compilation from the archive (outside the u.s. this is trickier, but i'll try to accomodate!).
Be sure to have your address listed on your donation if you wish to receive anything! :]
(Very) Limited Edition CDs with unreleased material are currently in the planning phase. Vinyl may happen too.

:::04.09.2009::: Instead of updating this thing by hand, i'm implementing the flash widget (which should be right above this) that will have up to date info on what i'm hacking from Twitter. For album announcements i'll still be using the combo of bulletins and myspace blog... with the occasional gross invite to purchase genuine data and physical articles. That kinda bothers me when it's abused so it will be very sparingly. Goodnight, old news method.
:::03.11.2009::: Breaktime OVER, time to work! OK so i'm not great with keeping all of my pages updated. I can accept that, can you? So much has happened since i last updated this section that you're better off googling my name or checking at least the myspace blog. 'From Unity To Segmentation' EP is done, will be released on CD via Abandon Building Records -- expect a firm release date soon. I'm also nearly done writing an as-yet untitled EP to be released digitally/itunes et al. for Middle Management Recordings. It should see release before Summer. 5 Songs on it, more details as the songs materialize. Focusing with great intent ..ing my LP called 'Amongst Fauna and Wiring' for Tympanik Audio, and have given myself plenty of time to let the ideas gestate, they're coming along well now. A load of mostly free compilations are in the release queue too, one for IVDT (see top of page, clicky clicky for download now!), one for Xynthetic, one for Volume Voice and one for Soulseek Records that should be finalized any day now. All 4 should see release before summer rolls in. Exciting stuff! Most of the time i forget how busy i am, thanks for reading this and making me remember what i do all day. Til next time, enjoy! (p.s. most updates will be at the blog/bulletin only, so subscribe to those if you care to hear whats timely).

Mikuś returns with his second strong dub release on Planet Terror. Rain Down Dub is another showcase for his inimitable approach to the genre, combining grainy old school distortion with modern production styles. 'Rain Down' features another guest appearance from Kevin Robinson on flute. This is dub for the 21st century.
