(Pin&Pon djs, 9º puesto como MEJOR DJ NACIONAL 2006, 5º puesto como MEJOR DJ NACIONAL 2007 y 3er puesto como MEJOR DJ NACIONAL 2008 para los lectores de ROCKDELUX) Do the pinching! Este es nuestro grito de guerra. Después de pinchar en el FIB Heineken 2006, poca sueños quedan ya por realizar. ¿Pinchar otra vez quizás? Desde aquella primera sesión en el Fantástico Club de Barcelona (y de la que cumplen casi 5 años), hemos podido visitar la práctica totalidad de las salas más representativas del circuito indie de la Ciudad Condal (Sala Razzmatazz, Depósito Legal, Fantástico Club, The Sound, Sweet Café o Picnic de Nitsa Club, por citar unas cuantas pero hay más). Otro tanto de salas distribuidas por nuestro país (entre otras el Low Club en Madrid, Le Club en Valencia o Fever en Bilbao, aunque hay muuuchas más) y festivales varios han acogido con gran éxito nuestras Dear Catastrophe Session. Nuestras sesiones son eclécticas y en ellas casi todo tiene cabida (escucha aquí mismo dos de nuestras sesiones). Nuestra progresión a los platos ha sido constante en los últimos tiempos y nuestra máxima es buen gusto y buena técnica, intentando en lo posible mezclar nuestras sesiones de cabo a rabo (aunque hay veces que el tipo de música que pinchamos nos lo impide). Pinchamos con el Rane Serato Scratch Live, un Macbook y los correspondientes platos y mesa, evidentemente (nuestros favoritos, Pioneer) y es la mejor adquisición que podríamos realizar jamás. Además de nuestra faceta como djs, celebramos en mayo cuatro años de fanzine-web, www.pinypondjs.com, cuatro años dedicados a informar a nuestra manera de todo lo relacionado con la actualidad musical indie. Un tiempo en el que también se ha consolidado nuestro programa de radio (el cual puedes escuchar online en su web y que sobrepasa de largo el número 100) versado en las últimas novedades del panorama indie nacional e internacional. Pin&Pon djs somos, en definitiva, dos enamorados de la música que hacen de sus sesiones un lugar para explayar sus ganas de buena música.

(Pin&Pon djs in 9th place as best national djs 2006, 5th place as best national djs 2007 and in 3th place as best national djs 2008 for the readers of ROCKDELUX Magazine.) “Do the Pinching! Is our war cry. After performing in the FIB Heineken 2006, a few dreams are left to come true. To perform again, perhaps? Since that first session at The Fantastico Club in Barcelona (almost five years ago), we have been able to visit nearly all the most representative venues on the indie circuit in the capital city (Sala Razzmatazz, Depósito Legal, Fantástico Club, The Sound, Sweet Café o Picnic de Nitsa Club, to quote just a few, but there are more). Another number of venues throughout our country (among others: The Low Club in Madrid, Le Club in Valencia or Fever in Bilbao), although there are a lot more. And several Festivals have hosted with great success our Dear Catastrophe Sessions. Our sessions are eclectics and in those, almost everything goes. Our progression with the cd turnables (Tabletop CD Players) has been constant in recent years, and our maxim is good taste and good technique, trying where possible to mix our sessions from top to bottom (although there are times when the kind of music which we play prevents this). We use the Rane Serato Scratch Live, a Macbook and the relatives CD players. (obviously our favourites, Pioneer). And it’s the best investment we could ever have made. Apart from our role as djs, in May we celebrate four years with fanzine- web, www.pinypondjs.com, four years devoted to informing in our way everything related to the latest indie music. A time went, our radio programme has also become established, (to which you can listen on line on the website and which exceeded by far 100) dealing with the latest news on the national and international indie scene. Pinypon djs are, with no doubt, two lovers of the music which make their sessions a place to demonstrate their enthusiasm for good music.
