About me: Taiwan’s famous Pipa Soloist, Luo Chao-yun, is a virtuoso performer on the Chinese traditional string instrument-----“PIPA”. She received the master's degree in Pipa performance at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, and now teaches at the National Hsin-Chu University of Education in Taiwan.
Luo Chao-yun has performed recitals, concertos, has master classes, lectures, multimedia-performances improvisation performances, and etc. in Taiwan(many times), Beijing( many times), Malaysia(2 times), Singapore, Portugal, Pakistan, Nepal, Costa Rica(2 times), Italy, USA(3 times), UK, the Netherlands, Brazil, Bulgaria, ad etc.. She has also collaborated with the Taipei Municipal Classical Orchestra, as well as the Grass-Mountain Traditional Orchestra in Taipei, the Boon Lay Community Centre Chinese Orchestra Troupe in Singapore, Penang Hui Yin Seh Chinese Orchestra in Malaysia, and Consiliul Judetean Timis band in Romania.
