Dubuque Strange Music Society	Jul 1 2008 7:49 PM Dear Friend(s) Two fellow musicians and myspace community members were senselessly shot last Saturday morning in Savannah, Georgia. While they are people you most likely have not met, I am sending this out because ANY contribution towards their recovery would be greatly appreciated. They had just finished playing a show downtown and were attacked after two thugs approached them first trying to sell them drugs, then asking for money. These friends of mine gave the thugs some beers as that was all they had to offer. In return, one was shot point blank in the neck, and the same bullet lodged in my other friends spine. So far I have only been able to perform at a weekly open mic night and it is only 3 songs per time so it’s not like a real showcase, which is something I would like to try to do next.
