Matthew Small’s work has strong urban roots. By painting directly onto found pieces of metal, he brings physical elements of the city directly into his work. The people he paints are also found, filmed anonymously on the streets of London.

His own brand of abstract typography is rooted deep in the new wave graffiti era of the early eighties but his stylized shorthand and uniquely expressive approach to paintings keep him firmly in the present.

We’re very pleased to announce the first of our global sessions! The Planet Patrol Japan tour will be held in conjunction with boutique retail chain “And A” with a total of three live art events to be held on the following dates: March 19th Tokyo, 21st Osaka & finally Fukuokaon the 23rd. The exhibitions will feature some hot new original pieces from Adam Koukoudakis & Dan Malone along with prints from Eelus & SheOne. The hugely talented Bruno9li from Sao Paulo will be creating live art at each of the events. Once the live sessions are done & dusted a two week exhibition will be held within each city, showcasing the work that Bruno created along with pieces from all of the above artists.
