POETica collective is made up of local performance poets: phonetic phenomenon Martin Daws; debonair welsh wordsmith Rhys Trimble delivering poetic pearls in his uniquely urbane style; and beatbox literatus Dean Nicholls wowing the crowds with his verbal dexterity an unusual beatbox-harmonica stylings...with valued help from glamourous event organiser Scorchie and high quality offerings from our excellent open micers.
The featured poets since February 2008 are; Jennifer Cerdana Amas, Gwyn Parry; Rosy Carrick, Jonny Fluffy Punk, Steve Larkin, Sophie Mckeand, Ross Sutherland, Sophia, Anthony Joseph, Jenny Lindsay, Dinesh Allirajah, Mr Phormula, members of the cellar writing group, Gwilym Morus, Rosie Lugosi, Rommi Smith, Ben Mellor, Duffy, E Amato and Dan Amor.

Hi. I'd love to get down to one of the sessions some time. Sounds great. Yeah, it would be fun to try and do an integrated flute/poetry performance. As well as doing some stuff with you, I did some improv with an Irish performance artist with some of his text a while ago, which I really liked. Never thought of trying to do flute/recitation at the same time though!
