Springs up in 2002 and strengthens as the present formation: Lynne Marti: vocals and acustic guitar, Natxo Arola: Bass, Francisco Guisado"Rubio": electric Guitar and Dani K-t-na: Drums in 2007.
Their great longing to play,express and share their music encourages them to compose energetically and to record their first Demo: THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING. During this process they keep playing around different places of Barcelona, gaining new fans in each one of them. The creativity and connection between their components pushes them to record their second Demo: KEEP CLEAR.
As the name indicates, Poet in Process keep booming and composing in order to offer the audience a better show and a local connection tangible in their live. The name of the band is their faithful companion in this voyage between the essential and the natural , reflecting in their music vindictive messages combined with an urban expression of contained and distorted rage. The new urban Poet..s mission is presisely to fuse these two aspects in order to try and come out from this world full of contradictions.
The combination of savage&strident guitars with the most soft and delicate melodies, invites one to the creation of violent and captivating voices,wrapped up in a tender and whispering cadency.
After several years of hard work and gigging around Spain , they are offered to support the already acclaimed English band Stereophonics. One year later they strike hard again and support the English band: MUSE, travelling around the south of Europe ( Baracaldo, Lisboa, Madrid, Barcelona, Toulusse, Bordeaux). They also support Albert Hammond Jr. OK GO and TAKE THAT. From this moment and things will keep getting more professional and finally they will be able to record their first album ; FREE WAY (2007), one songs Why? will be chosen for Guillermo del Toro..s film : HELLBOY 2
With a great variety of influences that start from the folk tradition to the 70..s rock&roll, Ledd Zeppelin, Hendrix, The WHO,... to end up in the Pop-Rock and grunge sounds of the 90..s Pearl Jam,soundgarden ,etc. The band keep searching for his own path: the diversity of sounds and influences fuse to end up creating a personal sound.

Hey I am making a 40 to 45 song play list that I am going to make it look like an Internet TV show, and put it out on the Internet through a few different ways with big name bands and local bands.
