Formed in August of 1978 in Vancouver. Original band was Nick Jones, Bill Napier-Hemy, Ian Tiles and Tony Bardach. Gord Nicholl joined 6 months later. There were some personnel changes, including a time with the legendary Dimwit on drums. Broke up in misery and disarray in May of 1981. Reformed to play 3 gigs in Japan in July 2006. Enjoyed it so much that we played some more, then started writing songs, and are now perilously close to releasing a new full length record. Lineup is the original five from above. Since reforming, we've played Kyoto, Tokyo, Vancouver, Toronto, New York and Austin. We don't do many gigs, but we've been lucky enough to have been offered great ones! Thanks to all who kept our name alive during the dark years....
Columbus didn't discover America and he was not the first to prove the world wasn't flat. Columbus was a slave trading pirate and murderer. So, "Columbus day" is the celebration of a genocidal thief.
Hey Nick I met the coolest girl alive on our last Greatest Hits tour and she actually moved here to live with me! It's the best thing I could have asked for! We have been recording songs for fun and I think you will really dig them! Anyways I just posted the latest one and it's actually an old Pop Machine song! But I just couldn't let it go hehe. Leave us a comment if you likie?
