"Their sound was decribed once as The Shins singing Simon & Garfunkle. Naturally then, this unsigned band has a sound I'm loving. Lots of So-Cal Byrds lovin' too in their music."
- Larry Little, Tankfarm/Future Sounds (Former Co-Manager of The Killers)
Poor Richards Press(PRP) is Ricky Anderson, Mike Lindsay, Brett Florio, John Dale, and Jesse Nason. Their unique sound can be heard in the OC and LA area of SoCal.
Ricky's knack for melodies, harmonies, and lyrical hooks is what sets him apart. Mike Lindsay graduated at the top of his class at the USC School of Music, his tasteful subtleties are capturing as well as entertaining. Brett Florio recently joined the group after accompaning Mat Kearney during his tour with The Fray. Proving his versatility, Brett is going from playing keys with Mat to lead guitar with PRP. John Dale's talent on bass guitar is not only a part of PRP but also with other many talented groups, such as Marliese. Lastly, Jesse Nason (keys) recorded drums and bass on PRP's upcoming EP. also a very versatile and experienced performer you'll find him on a multiple array of instruments dury PRP live performances as well as back up vocals. Jesse also plays keys with the very talented Deccatree.
Producer Chris Karn (lead vocal of Deccatree) has been a major contributor to the uniqueness of PRP. Chris, Jesse, and Ricky collaborated together to create PRP's upcoming EP, along with Luke Agajanian on assorted bass tracks.
Larry Little (Former Co-Manager of The Killers) has recently added PRP's songs 'Millionaire' and 'Seasons' to his highly recognized compilations 'Future Sounds' (albums 25 and 27).
