Furunovic brothers, Sasha (guitar) and Goran (bass), founded the band named Popecitelji in 1999, in town of Pristina. They were already involved in musical events of various and indefinite genres, where they acquired many years of playing experience.
Together with the drummer Rade Vulic, they commence their work on creating their own explosive mixture of instrumental funk-rock and folk music. After the end of bombardment, the band is leaving Pristina, the town where this group has already gained its audience. Now they are moving to Kragujevac and Kraljevo, continuing their work and research upon fostering their own, already established, original musik style.
Through numerous concerts in these towns, as well as in Belgrade, the band becomes some sort of underground attraction. After one of these concerts, held in Belgrade in 2003, very much desired, and in certain way, logical collaboration with Koja (Disciplin a Kitschme) begins, and soon, results in creation of the first album, which was recorded in Music Factory studio, in Kosutnjak, near Belgrade, produced entirely by Koja.
This album, named Ko radi? (Who's working?), was released in 2004, by Mojo beat from Belgrade, and is counted for one of the best albums released that year in Serbia. This record presents brilliant combination of free, raw folk-funk rock and flawless, appropriately arranged, modern production, with the addition of trance and drum-and-bass elements.
Popecitelji, through many concerts they held, only confirm the epithet of explosive concert band. Among others, these performances distinguish themselves: performing ahead of Maceo Parker, legendary saxophone player of James Brown (2003), and ahead of NoMeansNo (2005). Besides many concerts performed in Serbia, in 2005 Popecitelji also play their music on numerous concerts in Poland (Warsaw, Cienchanow), Italy (Milan, Rome), and France (Toulouse, Albi).At that time, while still performing on gigs, the songs that will appear on the going (or latest) album were born.
Album named “Horizonti” was recorded in 2007 in Kragujevac at Dr Studio, working with the same publisher, but the publishing house changes its name into Odlican hrcak. On the new album Popecitelji took producing in their own hands and managed to create the album which defines and determine their authentic musical expression even more.
The record brings with it 12 new songs.

Jordan za one koji ne znaju svira jako igrivi lo-fi rock, često po recenzijama razvlačen između Fugazi i Q And Not U ili recimo At the Drive-In i The Rapture. Ono što je sigurno je da njihov live nastup stvarno ubija. Koncert koji će se desiti u Beogradu biće u sklopu kratke evropske turneje vezane za njihov prvi dugosvirajući album ''Oh no! We are dominos!'', koji je prekookeanska kao i deo evropske publike već imao prilike da čuje na minulim turnejama ovog benda u proteklih godinu dana.
Belgrade Noise i Went su već svima dobro poznata imena i oni će uz još sveži funk punk Salto Mortale Trio (Bubanj/Bas - The Schtrebers, Gitara/Vokal - Jaibo!) upotpuniti line up za ovu priliku.
