   About Portable Folk Band
Portable Folk Band once was 2 fellows driving around recording improvised songs in public on a 4 track. Recently it has evolved into something more audible, less abrasive, and almost tangible. Songs include vocal harmonies, bouncy bass, trash drums, and 7th chords.

Additionally, if you like what you hear, we would be delighted if you would download our LP "Portable Folk Band introduces the Royal Postal Bazaar" in it's entirety.

Or, if you're not ready for that type of commitment, please download single tracks from our LP.

Also, you may purchase "introduces the Royal Postal Bazaar" by clicking the button below this text. Included with your purchase is a CD, CD packaging and jewel case, random Portable Folk Band jazzes, and a special gift.

Hi Portable Folk Band,

Hope your summer is starting out well .. it's finally getting sunny out here on the West Coast!

I have been playing around with different, more electronic sounds lately and have a new song in the works with DJ Preach. This type of sound is the musical direction I'm heading in with my next album - so I'd love your feedback on the demo version I've got up on my MySpace ('Love Like Water').

The battle was well fought. I have never faced such a worthy opponent. Though much blood was shed, we'll have to call this encounter a draw. Until next time!!!

Remember that night.. study these pics.. continue training! We have not stopped, nor shall we ever.

Since November 1st, I have listened to "...Introduces" about 482 times. I have told EVERYONE I know about it.. even some people I don't know (I may have even sent a letter to the President of the United States.. but I can't say for sure for legal reasons)

Just wanted to say thanks for all of the awesome. If you guys ever play in Western MA, Northwestern CT or even Central MA.. you can rest assured that I will be there.
