Posi-Tone is an independent multi-media company that was originally conceived in the early 1990's as a music studio for production/post-production.
In 1995, everything changed, when at the behest of a suggestion by legendary engineer Rudy Van Gelder, the company expanded into an independent record label focused on producing and releasing new Jazz albums.
Over the years Posi-Tone has embraced a wide range of musical styles with successful releases in the Rock, Pop and Ambient genres as well.
Besides releasing our own records, we also offer a wide variety of third party product development consulting and production services including multitrack recording, digital sound editing & mastering, CD and DVD production, packaging design, printing & manufacturing, radio promotion, publicity and marketing strategies, and distribution.
