Mysterious 'Disease' Afflicts American TV Transmitters

New York and Los Angeles-- As tens of millions of people were about to sit down for another evening of television watching last night, television sets across America went blank.

Engineers, physicists, and other scientists have provided no explanation for what can only be described as an incredible mystery.
