Listen to Precious James playing the djembe drum on "EZ Like a Sunday Morning" in the above "MySpace Music Player".

Music to me comes alive when everyone present joins in making it... Creating a harmony of being... Rhythms Beating, bodies shaking, strings pulsing, tribal fire burning! Best on a beach in the tropics under coco trees. Let's make music together!

I've just returned to the U.S. after being in Taiwan for 6 years studying Tai Chi, Chinese, and the Philosophy of Teaching. I'm currently traveling around America visiting old friends and family that I so dearly missed during my years in Asia. Seeking partnerships in China? Let me know if I can help?
Who I'd like to meet: Supportive, BIG Hearted, sharing people! New friends, old friends, green friends, blue friends, soon to be you, friend... and Dr. Suess. If you're a friend, please send me a message with your email address (outside myspace... where I live most of my life), or see my business card and send me an email to gmail so that we can connect more, and keep in touch!
Hi James! Glad to see you are enjoying life to it's fullest. I always knew you were cool. Thanks for the video. I have only been able to watch the first half so far.
Thanks for checking out my tunes, adding my live track, and especially for all of the positive words!! Let's stay in touch. I'm about to release a new album and plan to do a huge tour in the fall. Keep the music alive!
Hey buddy, whats going on? How are things up there? I know that i havent called, my bad. But i have been annoyingly busy. Im planning on coming up there in Jan, maybe. If you thats cool. Ill call you this week bro.
GREAT seeing you at the party, bro... hope you got everything done before you left. Thank you for the drum box... and I hope to see you again in this life... peace and love to you...
Hey man - All's well in San Francisco. Starin' to get out to play music a bit.
Yesterday, I was going through one of the moving boxes and I came across your machete! I still got it. There's really not much weed wacking to do out here in the chaparral. So next time your in the Bay Area you can come pick up your axe. Aloha! - Michael
Hey brother. I took your advice and we are having the BostonPaulStock Birthday event on July 28. But that is not why I am leaving this comment.
I wanted to tell you that The tracks have all been mastered the Native Space "LIVE" CD is just about finished... featuring music from Basic Aid and PeaceFest. You have the video posted here at your site. You were an important part of the music and I can't wait to give it to you.
Remember your question about software? There are plenty of applications that can generate drum and percussion sounds for you but for best results you still need a hardware controller to hit so you trigger them. I have never heard of a percussionist using a mouse :)
So, if you want to go this route, you need two things: the software and hardware. There are plenty of options but I really like the new Alesis ControlPad because of the following:
It connects via USB no messing about with MIDI cables.
It is also a stand alone instrument with an internal bank of sounds.
Dear Precious, What an inspiration the weekend was, and you were a major part of that! Thank you so much for all your kind words, motivation, compassion, yoga instruction, patience, passion, music,...You really do teach by example. What a Precious Gift you are my friend! Love, Laura
I want to share this butterfly that was inspired by you and all the others who overflowed with love and peace at the fest! Thank you!
Your gentle words were a good reminder for people about many important things and a very appropriate message for a Sunday morning (or was it early afternoon?)
Gave Kunlun that old time revival feel, minus the fanaticism.

You taught me how to cook the veggie food, just to give yourself like a 20 minute break, and then when you weren't playing on stage, back again doing all that good Karma!!! You're an inspiration-Aloha and Mahalo xo-M-xo
Boston Paul, the designated MC, would be more than happy to share the mic with you at one point in the evening. There will be 7 mics, 8 amps, and a smoke machine... YUM
Can't wait to hang with you bro

Hi! Thanks so much for your compliments and encouragement, I really appreciate them! It was a pleasure to listen to you playing that magical flute at the drum circle at SS! I'm looking forward to enjoying more great music and people at the upcoming festivals in May and June, as well as meeting you in person! Thanks for being a light in this life!
Blessings and Love,
Laura
