Sounds Like
The albums that you used to listen to, on your parents hi-fi (through some monster headphones) in the sunken living room, when they were already fast asleep. They are remnants of the songs eminating from the speakers of your '77 Cutlass Supreme, as you approach 1am on a Saturday morning, nowhere near ready to abandon the high you found an hour ago. Sounds Like: the Big Sound Parade passing by your doorstep. PRESS TWO NOW.
Press Two For Panic is truly difficult to catergorize. They weave driving riffs into orchestrated passages, often applying complexity and odd time signatures into their music but holding to a dynamic, melodic sensibility. As for their lyrics, they are heartfelt, telling and contemplative. Instrumentally, this four-piece group features intensive keyboard work, melodic yet grooving bass lines, fevered but focused guitar riffs, while showcasing a drummer that executes complex rythyms while soulfully singing lead vocals. Press Two For Panic reminds the listener of the glory days of 70's progressive music but with an edgier, more current sound. This band stands to reignite and reform a style not heard much since the glory days of Yes, E.L.P, and Genesis yet progressively looks forward to produce a sound that is relevant to the present. But they are really just rock, like you like.
If there is light in the soul, There will be beauty in the person. If there is beauty in the person, There will be harmony in the house. If there is harmony in the house, There will be order in the nation. If there is order in the nation, There will be peace in the world.
We will swing by there...we are also going to the RT Scott reunion show @ Neil's that night...but yea, we will come by there too...glad you boys are back on the scene!! Come out to Hard Rock Sunday night and catch Nick's band CORNERSTONE! ((big hugs))
I'll be there. And not only that, I'll have my lovely wife with me if I have to drag her kicking and screaming 'cause I know how much she'll enjoy herself.
Why did cave men drag their women around by the hair?
'cause if they dragged 'em by their feet, they'd fill up with sand!
