Great show in Victoria, though unfortunately the sound was a bit hurting for your set. Still, it inspired me to grab a copy of your strange and wonderful album. Most pleasantly unsettling!

Hey Nif-D,

I really like the songs on here. I love the "Whoa Whoa" backup vocals on Tinto de Verano. If you're still interested I can send you some of the stuff I've made lately.

We thoroughly enjoyed your set in Hoboken. However, we pretty disappointed to learn that the kalimba's presence on the tool table was just a tease.

Hey there Nifty/Matt

Thank you so much for coming out to Hoboken on Saturday night. I just wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed your set. And I was the one who asked if you were Nifty when you first started, not that it matters. :)

Great album in 'A Sparrow! A Sparrow!', man. "Tinto de Verano" is one of the best things I've heard this year.

You weren't billed at the Victoria concert - an awesome surprise when you came on stage. Best of luck.

thank god. i thought you'd never leave.

now i'm gonna rule your village!!

one other thing: when you get there, tell the monkeys to stop howling. if they don't listen to you, just tell them that if you slap their back they'll look like that forever. it works with children so it should work with monkeys.

take care,
stefan

i forgot to ask you about this: in your set tonight at that waterloo house did you say "your parents are boring?" amdist the post-pygmy-electro vocal avalanche it sounded like you said that. steve and i both thought so.

The ability to balance Ida and Pingala,
and cause Prana to flow in Sushumna
is the most essential preparation for
Meditation and Kundalini Awakening.

Mind is a barrier: At this stage of the practice, a barrier is commonly encountered, and that is, you more fully encounter the contents of the mind. At this stage of the practice, this can preclude the feeling of joy. At the same time that peace and joy are beginning to be experienced, the attention is coming further inward, leaving behind the external world. Even the body and the gross breath are now seeming to be external, and are about to be left behind on the inner journey. It is here, at the door of the joy of Prana flowing in Sushumna, that you more fully encounter the contents of the mind.
