Process Rebel (Other Weapons) is the pseudonym of Chad Jones (a.k.a. Totemplow)
After coming up as a song writing guitarist in Seattle during the peak of grunge (1989-93), Chad moved to San Francisco where he steered further left with his avant-experimental-guitar persona Totemplow. His full length cd 'Appluad The Execution' (Manifold Records 1996) received such comments as "one of the deepest mixes around ...his work should garner wide critical acclaim", "...start buzzing now as Totemplow deserves your ears" and received a 4 finger rating in Alternative Press Magazine with favorable comparisons to Brian Eno, Bill Laswell and Harold Budd! Following 'Applaud' came appearances on compilations, small press cd eps, remixes (Mick Harris/Quoit & Aube among others) and 2 collaborative vinyl releases with the seminal NYC spawned DJ Spooky.
Enter Process Rebel.
First introduced with Hypnomadic in 2002 (alongside San Francisco dj Soulsalaam), live cinematic dubs and sweaty drum machines mashed with jungle, drum&bass, ragga, hip-hop and "world" music frequently and beautifully destroyed SF warehouses and venues such as the Elbo Room, Mighty, 1015 Folsom, 550 Barneveld and The Fillmore. In the studio, Hypnomadic produced a handful of original and highly regarded hybrid tunes, as well as remixes for dub-rockers Systemwide and master beat boxer Kid Beyond. Process continued on to produce tracks with Dub Gabriel for electro-hip-hop MCs Yo Majesty!; Dhruva/Sub Swara for euro-drum&bass MC Coppa; Indo-Electro wonder-kid Kush Arora and remixes for Madrid based reggae band Hotdrop, NYC's south asian drum&bass collective Goonda, Electro-house producer/dj Eric D. Clark and Dancehall's White Label Menace MC Zulu.
In his mission to formulate and forge new sounds and styles Process conceived and produced Other Weapons 'Basis To Break This' (Destroy All Concepts - due Jan 2009). Tracked and mixed in San Francisco, Amsterdam, Chicago, New York, Edinburgh and Bratislava at studios such as Hyde Street and Mark Pistel's (Meat Beat Manifesto/Consolidated) Room 5. 'Basis' boldly and profoundly fuses sub-genre electronica with a unique rock/pop subliminal-ability. Where top voices from the bubbling worlds of dubstep, dub reggae, dancehall, drum&bass and breaks present fresh lyrical themes of social, cultural, spiritual rebellion, revolution and manifestation. This incredible line-up of guests and collaborators includes Juakali (Dub War/Sub Swara), Dr Israel (Praxis/Method of Defiance), MC Coppa (Stereotyp/Al-Haca), Profisee (Hexstatic), Sunru Skywaka (Bassnectar), Lady K (Dreadtone International/Heavyweight Dub Champion), 101VOiD, Kid Beyond, Mark Pistel, Mr Vigs, Kush Arora and more…
Process Rebel currently lives in Amsterdam and continues to vandalize, scandalize and defy electronic music genres.

FUJAKO came out of the clash of Jonathan Uliel Saldanha and Nyko Esterle, two producers obsessed with echo and bass. The first one, raised in Portugal and part of the collectives Soopa and Mécanosphère, deals with sonic alchemy, and is also known as HHY. The second one, raised in France, part of the Radon collective and a rider of the sound waves, is also known as Ripit. Both met to summon music of unlooped hip-hop, filled with spectres of haunting dub and ecstatic scapes.
LANDFORM, their first record (out on Wordsound Digital) was born in a small stone house studio in the burnt forests and mountains of Portugal, between paradise and the gate of hell, made from soundscapes and beats recorded on mostly acoustic instruments, created in an hostile -yet natural- environment. After the initial production phase in the woods, LANDFORM was then haunted by the voices of several guests such as Sensational, Seraphim, Native, Cheravif and Scalper, as well as by the additional trash turntablism of DJ Urine.

Review: "Don Goliath's "Bagstep EP" (DDR030) is one of those innovative EPs showcasing how versatile Dubstep can get. The unique idea of creating Dubstep versions of celctic (Irish as well as Scottish) folk classics for all you drunkards longing to sing along was Don Goliath's motto when producing this madness. The concept is as simple as effective: he picked 4 of your grandpa's favourites such as "Old Skibbereen", "Scotland the Brave", "Drunken Sailor" and "Amazing Grace" having the melody played by a definitly non-sober Bagpipe section and then layering it with lofi mid range wobbleism - we therefor call it Bagstep. Overall production quality is high grade with that intense sub focus so you can blow-dry your hair right in front of the bass bins. Now let's get into the tunes: "Skibbereen Bagstep" is one of the melancolic minor tunes expressing Irish history as it is. It is an unmixable 3/4 waltz beat at unusual 154bpm, well dancebal though when one moves to the triplets. "Bagstep the brave" should be one of the sickest rebuilds of the Scottish national anthem making it Mel Gibson's signature tune if he had one. "Drunken Bagstep" is a Glitchfest version of the sailors anthem capable of getting you uberdrunk by listening alone, Arrrr! "Amazing Bagstep" is as religious as it gets making it a tune that'll certainly safe xamounts of lost souls. Enjoying the dancefloor got even easier now: drink out the bar, make your skirt fly and sing along to these (future) classics! Some will hate this release and some will love it, there barely is anything in between. All Dubstep Division crew salutes the latter as our fellow beerheadz! cheeeeeerz!"

The notorious international Poison Dart, based in Tampa , Florida ( US A) will tour Europe this fall.
