"Currently working in the land better known as Edinburgh, Prodigal son joined the metal scene in late 2005's Stirling. They found a sound which they humorously describe as "Metal O' Awesome". As put by Osmium Records: "The sound deviates from what has become the ubiquitous metal sound that's dragging the genre into a decline". The band are currently working on their first album, called for now the "Disc of doom". Their work fuses attributes such as aggression without sounding like Slipknot, melody without sounding like Inflames and it's catchy without sounding manufactured. Combined with crunching atmospherics, they forge a load of metal anthems.

The Jamie and Hugh project were quality that night. The song Boyfriend/Girlfriend was definitely my favourite. Still trying to get as good as Hughman at the drums.
