Fusing the speed and aggression of thrash metal with the hooks and power of melodic death metal, Profaner (formerly Nexus) deliver a ferocious live show, which is now backed by their first full length album "Signs of Nine". Jason Crook and Mike Harshaw formed thrash band Nexus in late 2005. Despite great musical chemistry between the two, they were plagued with frequent member changes, striving to find other musicians with the skill and dedication needed for the metal monster they were creating. In their travles, they had shared the stage with respected metal acts such as Kataklysm, Into Eternity, and Kalmah. Finally, in 2009, everything was falling into place with the recruiting of FrankytheWop on the mic, Rusty on the bass, and John Raposso shredding on guitar. But now the unthinkable has happened, and Mike has to move on. So now Craig Piggot has come along to bang drums for us, and he's doing an amazing job of it too.
