Despite being very academically capable i didn't see much of school after year 8. As smart as I was, I was too stupid to stay in school.
What followed was an attempt at a 9 to 5, a bad career choice and a police raid which nearly put me away, but fortunately didn't.
Since narrowly avoiding prison I've signed a deal with mike skinner's record label 'the beats' (which sadly went bye bye in dec 07), had my own radio 1 show, and done very well on the battle scene, intoxicating myself all the way along.
After a messy year wrestling with Warner to get my masters back, my dad passing (and me not having seen him for 6 years), the normal woes of manhood and an ever increasing amount of doubt about my new found career path, I got my mind right and made a new album (which you can't purchase yet) and 'The Green EP' which you can purchase from HERE.
2009 looks to be a better year.
I like; The Wire (tv), Bonobo (music), Jack Daniels (liquor), and Jessica Alba (woman).
I dislike; Eastenders (tv), DJ Ironik (music?), Southern Comfort (liquor) and most of my ex girlfriends (women).
I love you all.
Bye for now,
Green x

Jay Collins and Mark Wagstaff AKA The Funk Junkies are Djs, producers and promoters from the north of England. Their club event 'charged' is one of the UK's fastest growing house brands throwing regular sell out parties across England, Malta and Ibiza. Last year saw the guys move up a gear and begin producing. In little under 12 months their productions have gained support from the likes of Steve Angello, Deepgroove, Sonny Wharton and more. The Funk Junkies first release on Elektriqa is a double A side. First up is Fragile, a peak time record with a simple yet hypnotic riff that definitely crosses musical boundaries. Gush, on the other hand is a dubby, twisted progressive house bomb graced with a tight and catchy lead. Keep an eye out for more Funk Junkies productions forthcoming on Elektriqa.
