Hello.

I am Green.

Not by colour, nor by nature. It's just my alias.

My real name is Stephen Paul Manderson.

I was raised in Hackney by my Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

Despite being very academically capable i didn't see much of school after year 8. As smart as I was, I was too stupid to stay in school.

What followed was an attempt at a 9 to 5, a bad career choice and a police raid which nearly put me away, but fortunately didn't.

Since narrowly avoiding prison I've signed a deal with mike skinner's record label 'the beats' (which sadly went bye bye in dec 07), had my own radio 1 show, and done very well on the battle scene, intoxicating myself all the way along.

After a messy year wrestling with Warner to get my masters back, my dad passing and getting shanked in the neck with a broken bottle, i had a facebook convo with Lily Allen which spawned a remake of 90's classic 'Dub Be Good To Me' for my album, featuring Lily. A European, UK and Australian tour with Lily (performing the song) later, I've signed to Virgin, got my teeth fixed and am just about to finish my Debut album 'Alive Till I'm Dead'. Yippee.

I like; The Wire (tv), Bonobo (music), Jack Daniels (liquor), and Jessica Alba (woman).

I dislike; Eastenders (tv), Techno-Rap (music?), Southern Comfort (liquor) and most of my ex girlfriends (women).
