The album release show is a benefit to support the Carrie Dickerson Foundation. Carrie Dickerson was the leader of the Oklahoma movement to keep nuclear power plants out of the state. -A bunch of us were sitting around one day and one of us said, "I like food" and then someone else said, "I like food, too" and then someone else said, "I think we all like food and things of that nature" and then a passerby said, "Y'all should start a band and write songs about food, but you should NEVER sing with food in your mouth" so that's what we're doing except for the singing with food in our mouths thing.
-We originally recorded the new CD, "Mom's Saturday Morning Ballcap", as a demo for booking gigs, but we liked the way it sounded and thought you might, too. The title is an homage to all the moms who crawl out of bed on Saturdays, get their kids ready for soccer, basketball, etc. throw on their ballcaps and still show up on time...
-We like to keep the live shows interesting, which might explain the gas mask and the mailbox.
