The first band of the evening was Melton Mowbray based four-piece Project Notion. A haunting and soulful mixture of Folk, Jazz and Pop – it’s a sound aching with emotion and shining with ideas. Gently paced, intelligently written and delicately arranged; they are all clearly very talented musicians who know how to get the most from their subtle direction. Tori has a beautiful voice, powerful yet deeply tender, she defines and compliments their sound perfectly.
