Background:
The Psionic_Entity is an interdimentional being, that exists on the psychic level. It is able to infiltrate other beings conciousness through sound wave frequencies that it transmits psychicly. Its subjects minds are dissolved and taken on a collective journey into the depths of the psionic realms. When sufficiant mind expansion is achieved they are then safely reintegrated back into physical reality.

I enjoy most types of psytrance. i think theres a right type of psy for different moods a dancefloor could be in and for different parts of the night. a good party should take you on a journey through the different styles.
my favorite style to play is: High Tech Twisted Darkpsy, but i'm also known to regularly play: Weird and tripped out Minimal Progressive & Uplifting but Twisted, Funky Morning Trance.

Biography:
Got hooked on Psychedelic Trance and the UK party scene when i was 16 and started "Area D-3e" Parties in Southport in 2004, to cater for my wide taste in electronic music. In 2005 we started "Soma Sonic" in Liverpool; our main psytrance project & soon after formed the "Psychometric Vision" Collective as a platform for likeminded people in Liverpool and the North West to push the boundaries of what is possible with psychedelic art, music and underground parties.
Ive been playing out at festivals, clubs & freeparties for 5 years. Appearing all over England, Scotland Wales & France. In this time i have appeared alongside internationally acclaimed artists such as: Electrypnose, Entropy, E.V.P., Fungus Funk, Rev, Penta, Error Corrective, Dickster, Yab-Yum, Ajja, Flooting Grooves, Peaking Goddess Collective, Psymmetrix, OOOD, Lucas, Aphid Moon, AMD, Eat Static, Cosmosis, Phatmatix & many more....
Ive always tried to take an artistic approach to DJing. Aiming to provoke certain thoughts, feelings and even making political and ethical statements through use of sampling. Taking the dancefloor on a journey through our collective emagination. I see DJing as a modern day form of shamanism. While in altered states of conciousness, trance dancers are more sensitive to subtle messages and the emotional energy of the music. If guided carefully, these factors can have very positive cleansing and spiritual effects.
I enjoy thinking of new ways to surprise people and make my sets a bit more my own. I quite often use a Korg Kaoss Pad to play around with the sound & i sometimes throw in movie & documentary samples i have edited and selected to fit the vibe of my set. I have been known to paint my face to add to the vibe im trying to create.
I also enjoy playing with other people, live instruments, synths or b2b DJing using 3 decks, 2 mixers, lots of samples and kaoss fx.

PRODUCER BIOGRAPHY:
At the moment i am concentrating on Dark & Twisted Nightime Sounds but will later expand into other styles.
Started Making electronic music back in 2004 round about the same time i started putting on AREA D-3e parties in Southport, at the time having very wide tastes i experimented with lots of sounds. I started off using Fruity Loops, soon changing to Reason.By the end of 2004 i knew i wanted to concentrate on Psytrance but didnt really get far producing it. As i started to get gigs DJing i decided to focus on that.
Its now 2009 and ive had countless Freeparty, Club Night & Festival DJ gigs, DJing all over the UK and even Festivals in Scotland and France. My tastes and mixing style has overgone a slow evolution as ive been exposed to more and more Psychedelic Music.
Now, after listening to Psytrance music, nearly every day for over 6 years, and taking my experience in knowing what makes a dancefloor go wild, im finally managing to find time to get back into Producing my own music. Now using Ableton Live, i feel i have a deeper understanding of how to construct Psychedelic Electronic Music. i must say thanks to the Cuboid Atom guys for the incouragement, inspiration and lessons in how to use ableton.
