PsychoActive (Formerly TempesT) was born in Guatemala City in 1985, adopted and saved from death he was brought to AmeriKKKa. He has been a part of the electronic music community in Eugene for a decade, and is going on year 3 as a Psytrance, House, and Psy Breaks DJ as well as a foundling producer. Underground Melodic Psytrance was introduced to him by Agent Epsylon aka Planewalker (Lucid Dreamer Records/Metakinetics) in 2006 while at a summer gathering by the name of Illuminated Forest, he then began mixing the heavy, glitchy and resinous sounds of Aggressive and Full On Psytrance with the rolling, electro bass lines and Victorious leads of Melodic Psytrance, creating his own unique style of Psytrance in Oregon. PsychoActive resides now in the Eugene/Glenwood area continually working to bring Full On, Melodic and Progressive Psy to the Oregon.. spending most of his time making or mixing music, coordinating events, serving the community and helping facilitate other gatherings of love and light.
PsychoActive has played in Various gatherings in the Northwest, his first set was in 2007 (Contact festival June 22nd-24th, Salem Oregon) at a three stage multi day gathering here he performed Saturday's sunrise set on a 20,000 watt Turbo TDX sound system. He has also loaned his music to the healing community, playing a set at the Emerald Empire Hempfest '07 (July 21st Eugene, OR) in collaberation with Deko. As a promoter he has helped with countless events in Oregon and as a DJ he has played at gatherings with other artists such as MADD MAXX, PLANEWALKER, Andrew Mataus, Miles Airon, Forrest Avery, Jeigh Baldwin, Random, Gorilladust, Mubali, The Fractal Cowboys, Modcam, Freya, Freaks Of Nature, Squee, Malaclypse, Manifest, Know One, Fractal Cowboys, Amanita, Sofa King Cool, Weapon-X, Check 6, Ekim, Psunspot, J Renegade, Rick Preston, DJ Penguin, DjEep, Big Daddy Scamp, Hector Villaneuva, Facehead, Chad Benz, B Grade, Mandala, Juicebox and many others..

Fuck! I forgot how intense psy can be! You can tell I don't venture outside of the house realm very much, but I will say they are damn good productions. Keep up the good work!
You have restored my faith in new psytrance music. The tracks on your mixes were stupendous, and they're not that GMS-style boring fodder. Fresh trax, man for sure. I am now anxious to dance at your parties. As for me, I'm starting a genesis of live psychedelic electronic music. I really don't miss the days of Reason programming because now I dub mix on the fly with my gear. More flow, more of what I've been trying to accomplish with the music- the Carbilicon as the mixture of the human and the machine. Now if I just had an extra pair of arms.
