Formed in the year of our Lard, 2005, at the end of a six hundred and sixty-six-year project, Szammy Davis LaVey, Rembrant P. Rockefeller and Merlin decided to start what would eventually become the ancient and mystical society known as PSYMATIK. Enlisting the drumming/nuclear fission skills of Dr. Stangelove, Psymatik came kicking and screaming(and dripping) from its strange infested womb. From it's inception, in the depths of Count Chocula's psyche on his acid trip with Buttholesurfers, Pantera, and Pythagoras, it was agreed that the music and all of it's phantamorgasmic implications is most important, and must never be compromised. After approximately 3.14159 years of writing and performing, a fifth element was added with guitarist/Alchemist Lord Randolph Rasputin solidifying the sound. With fierce vocals, crushing guitars and thundering drums each being brings a unique musical and etheric element to the band. Drawing from a broad spectrum of influences, like Sir Fancis Bacon to the Cookie Monster, Psymatik intends to ignite a flame of consciousness in even the most resistant and docile of listeners, affectively effecting the collective unconscious and the all-seeing eye, to awaken the masses and their masters from their slumber with an all out assault to Descartes and the Euclidian senses.
