sHiFt is Chris Hoy from Cape Town, South Africa. Psytrance producer and DJ.
This is my music myspace where i can keep you updated on my upcoming releases, gigs, and general happenings @ neXus meDia, a psy label i run with my friend SLUG -
- I have been into music my whole life,, started piano at about 6 years old and just kept on going until i find myself here, submerged in the underworld that is psychedelic trance -
- my idea with sHiFt is to make massive party music. Not specifically orientated at one particular party of the party, or kind of event/listener. I dont expect to make music that everyone likes, and because i make such a varied selection of psytrance these days its actually hard for people to know what to epect from me,, i suppose i'm keeping them guessing -

A recognized DJ and Live performer he has toured every continent. His sound ranges from powerful & melodic twilight full-on, to twisted night psy-techno. His 4th solo album “alternator” has thrashed dance floors around the globe, and his last compilation Midnight Storm III shows his excellent remix and team production skills; but now expect some big new blasters from this psychedelic phenomenon as sHiFt rips into the space between your ears!
