Project SOM has been formed in 1997. The founder and the unique participant – Andrey SOM.
In a beginning of the career this pseudonym was used for DJ performances in the Moscow clubs, and a number situated near Moscow. Interest gradually increased – as electronic music becomes.
In 1998 Andrey begins experiments with a dance music writing. And quickly enough, has achieved successes in creation Euro Trance of compositions. The same year Andrey writes down some remixes for foreign projects and as co-operates with domestic musicians and producers – writes for them arrangements.
Since 2003 Andrey starts to work densely with psychedelic trance music. For two years – it has been written enough for a debut album «Contact your mind» which left on the Internet label PsR in July 2006�. The same year Andrey creates promo lable «Positive Reaction rec.» Which basic direction is support of young talented musicians, and as release promo materials worldwide.
In 2008 project SOM signs the contract with an English label «Cosmogenesis rec.» Also lets out the second album «Psychedelic dream ' s» After an album exit – Andrey receives set of offers with tours worldwide and as successfully acts in Moscow and to cities of Russia. In the end of this year Andrey signs the contract with one more label «Psy Spy rec.» Also starts to prepare a material for the 3 albums.
In 2009 Andrey creates one more project: Andrey SOM - the project focused on a writing and music execution in such styles as: Progressive House, Electro House, Electro Progressive
