“Eagles & Vultures” is the highly anticipated album from Northern California hardcore punk outfit, Pullout. Featuring members of well-known punk band Monster Squad, Pullout puts a hardcore spin on the established Northern California punk sound. Combining sounds of early 80’s punk rock, such as Black Flag or Void, mixed with the newer hardcore sounds of Fucked Up or Modern Life is War, the band has established itself as a presence in the punk community. “Eagles & Vultures” brings back sounds of aggression to a scene that is becoming more mainstream and dependent on a glossy image. Personal experience, social struggle and the current political landscape are all addressed in “Eagles and Vultures,” along with emerging issues in the independent music scene. This record restores passion, heart and commitment to a fading underground culture.
