    BIOGRAPHY: Born in late 2001 after the disbanding of brixian deathsters PHONEUTRIA, Damy (guitar, lone original former member) start a new band together with Pedro (guitar, former HUMAN SHIELD, former HELLCIRCLE); few live shows were play from late 2002 to 2005 til PULVIS ET UMBRA stayed in "stand by" as a Studio Project. Damy engaged Cello (drums, former MIND CAGE), Bado (bass guitar, HUMAN SHIELD), Silvia and Drusy (Vocals) due to work on the first release of the band, titled "Qui Valet Hic Mundus, Quid Gloria, Quidve Triumphus Post Miserum Fonus..."; this EP was release in late 2006 and it was influence by the sounds of bands like Opeth, Anathema, Paradise Lost. It received good reviews from the press Less than one year later Pulvis Et Umbra recorded their second EP ("Pure Longobard Noize") thanx to a new line up; this second release was focused on the originary sound of the band mixed with some metalcore influences.<br> A huge number of live shows were play from late 2007 to half 2009 in the north of Italy til the band played an headlining mini tour in Slovakia during january 2009 and in march 2009 Pulvis Et Umbra played in Rome. Some members left than the band tue to work or personal problems so Damy and Cello engaged Mangoostah as new bass player / producer and Amod (who already helped the band in few live shows) on vocals. This currently line up started to work in january 2010 on the recording session of the first full lenght of the band titled "Reaching The End" which was release / print during october 2012 for the italian market.
