It all started by a simple jam session between four friends: Arthur, Costa, Pinho and Sebastien. Friendship and the common passion for music, led them to conclude that they had the basic essentials to form the project. A short while after, two more members were invited to the group: Chinó and Wayde, both with great creativity and musical talent. With the formation complete, all they needed was a name that would represent the band. After a long time of brain storming away, they made up their mind: PUSHED MIND!
In 2006 the formation suffers a major change, with the departure of Costa, followed by Wayde a short time after, both due to personal reasons. Naturally PUSHED MIND feels shaken by the event, but still moved on with the project.
It was during the recording of their first EP that they realize that it was essential to have a second guitar player and that’s where Jeyson, reavealing the potential and the creativity that they were looking for, joined the band.
Now in the end of 2009 PUSHED MIND releases their first EP “Prosthetic Eyes”, which is a combination of some of their songs that they had created since the beginning of the project. And with Jeyson as their newest member, PUSHED MIND is already in studio working on new songs, with a different style from the EP, for the upcoming album! So keep your mind open for more updates!

Tudo começou por uma simples Jam Session entre quatro amigos: Arthur, Costa, Pinho e Sebastien. A amizade e a comum paixão pela música leva-os a concluir que têm as bases essenciais para formar o projecto. Pouco tempo depois são convidados mais dois elementos para o grupo: Chinó e Wayde, ambos de grande criatividade e talento musical. Com a formação completa, só foi preciso pensar num nome para representar a banda. Ao fim de algum tempo de “brain storming” chegam a um consenso: PUSHED MIND!
Em 2006 sofre algumas alterações de formação com a saída de Costa, e pouco tempo depois de Wayde, que abandonam a banda por motivos pessoais. PUSHED MIND fica naturalmente abalada com a saída dos dois elementos, mas prossegue com o projecto.
Durante a gravação do primeiro EP, surge a necessidade de um segundo guitarrista, pelo que Jeyson, revelando o potencial e a criatividade procurados, integra na banda.
Em 2009 PUSHED MIND lança o primeiro EP Prosthetic Eyes, que é a junção de algumas das músicas que têm vindo a ser desenvolvidas desde o início do projecto. Agora com a entrada de Jeyson, o mais recente elemento, a banda já se encontra em estúdio a trabalhar em novos temas, num estilo diferente ao do EP, para o novo álbum! Portanto fiquem atentos para mais novidades!
