About me:

"I think U.S. citizens are trained at a young age to fully inhale the system, the rhetoric and ideologies surrounding democracy, capitalism, religion, family life...If the wizard is exposed, and we realize we've been lied to, it's frightening, like political vertigo or instantaneous sobriety. After all, once you've seen the light, there's no going back and, at that point, whether you like it or not, you are responsible for creating change."
-Alix Olson, The F-Word

(I happen to think so too, but she put it so well)

I am an ordinary guy. Except that I live in an RV, drive a 250cc motorcycle, have a truck that runs on bio-diesel, am vegetarian, and have had almost 30 jobs in 10 years, including armored truck driver, bicycle messenger, medical test subject, TV commercial actor, "adult" actor, ditch digger, lab assistant, liquor store cashier, secretary, non-profit fundraiser and carnie.

Now I am running my own small business, which is the only one of its kind which has been certified green in the SF Bay Area. I also work part time as a bicycle mechanic for a non-profit.
I am recently divorced, and am dating for the first time in my life. It may be hypomania after coming out of depression, but I have not been as excited about life in a long time. I am appreciating connecting with people in a way I never have before, every aspect of my life is going unexpectedly well, and find myself looking forward to each tomorrow.

Who I'd like to meet:

Interesting people. And attractive ones. Also anyone who is interested in playing Full Contact Spoons (see: www.wikihow.com/Play-Full-Contact-Spoons )

  • Heroes

The ones who never get their names in print, who never make speeches, who are regular people. Those with enough personal integrity to base their actions on morality instead of personal profit. Those who would sacrifice their own best interest for the benefit of those less fortunate. Those who run a non-profit, even though they could be successful as a for profit. Those who get arrested at peaceful protests. Those who started the labor unions; and those who got shot at in India during the rebellion from England. All the individuals we never hear of, but sacrifice just as much, if not more than, the famous ones.
