The Great Heart of Wisdom Sutra
Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva while practicing deep Prajna Paramita
Perceived all five skandhas were empty and was saved from suffering and distress
Shariputra, form is no different from emptiness
Emptiness is no different from form
That which is form is emptiness
That which is emptiness is form
Feelings, perceptions, impulses, consciousness, the same is true of these
Shariputra, all dharmas are marked with emptiness
They do not appear or disappear
are not tainted or pure
do not increase or decrease
Therefore in emptiness no form,
no feelings, perceptions, impulses, consciousness
no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, mind
no color, sound, smell, taste, touch, object of mind
no realm of eyes and so forth until no realm of mind consciousness
no ignorance and also no extinction of ignorance
and so forth until no old age and death and no extinction of old age and death
no suffering, origination, stopping, path
no cognition also no attainment
with nothing to attain
the Bodhisattva depends upon Prajna Paramita
and mind is no hindrance
without any hindrance no fear exists
far apart from every inverted view
dwells in Nirvana
All Buddhas in the Three Worlds
depend on Prajna Paramita
and attain complete unsurpassed enlightenment
Therefore know the Prajna Paramita
is the great transcendent mantra
is the great bright mantra
is the utmost mantra
is the supreme mantra
which is able to relieve all suffering and is true, not false
so proclaim the Prajna Paramita mantra
proclaim the mantra that says
gone,gone, gone beyond
gone all the way beyond, Bodhi Svaha!

I call myself the sadmonk.
I was ordained a Zen Buddhist Priest in 2006 and given the name Rev.Yao Feng Shakya.
I believe that all life is sacred and that all paths, like all people should be treated equal. We are one.
I practice traditional zen painting and i live my life as a way of meditation. All paintings on myspace and in my pics album is original art i have done.

My Dear Dharma Teacher and Master.
Rev.Ming Zhen Shakya.
My Venerable Master Fo Yuan the Abbot of Yun-men Temple passed away Feb.23, 2009 at 9 pm. He passed away into nirvana at the temple of our ancestors and lineage Yun Men. He was a disciple of Ven. Chan Master Hsu Yun.
They were both living saints, Buddha's.
I am greatly saddened at his passing. May his life and teachings, love n light live on within all of our hearts and minds.
We are all one.
The heartmind is sealed.
The light is transmitted.

My house is buried in the deepest recess of the forest
Every year, ivy vines grow longer than the year before.
Undisturbed by the affairs of the world I live at ease,
Woodmen’s singing rarely reaching me through the trees.
While the sun stays in the sky, I mend my torn clothes
And facing the moon, I read holy texts aloud to myself.
Let me drop a word of advice for believers of my faith.
To enjoy life’s immensity, you do not need many things.

The distances! What are worth the distances? Well you know that the distances only exist for your body.. Your soul is close to all of the things and it is in the essence of all things.. Out of your body, nor the light, with its speed of three hundred thousand kilometers a second, it would equal to the flight of your thought.. If well glances, everything will come within your reach.. There is no star who you cannot call.. Moves your thought with absolute freedom.. Get accustomed to the progressive high-flying.. Tries the height record.. Leaves that he goes and come through the universe.. Every day, like this, best will see the lying appearance of your cage.. With the notion of your freedom immaculate increase to the anguish.. Of eternal possessions.. And there is, for right, an ownership that offers you TO each instant and that doesn't have limits: The possession of God! Accepts it..

IF YOU wish to make progress in virtue, live in the fear of the Lord, do not look for too much freedom, and discipline your senses. Repentance opens the door to many blessings which dissoluteness usually destroys.
No liberty is true and no joy is genuine unless it is founded in the fear of the Lord and a good conscience.
Happy is the man who can cast away every cause of distraction and bring himself to holy contrition. Happy is the man who puts away from him whatsoever may stain or burden his conscience.
Pray humbly to the Lord, therefore, that He may give you the spirit of contrition and say with the Prophet: "Feed me, Lord, with the bread of mourning and give me to drink of tears in full measure." ~ Thomas a Kempis
Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. ~ Hebrews 10:19, 22

Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. ~ Exodus 19:5-6
