Outside of my little family unit? Why, the extended family unit ... and my horses. Riding, training, caring for them, futzing with them, watching them, working them, seeing what I can get them to do next... oh, Velvet will be under going training to drive this summer so she & I can start Skijoring this winter... I will post pics as training goes forward... Trixie is getting a saddle this year too.
Out side the horses, I L-O-V-E hunting.... bears especially. I generally love watching the bears, deer, squirrels, martins, fishers, mink, wolves, whatever. It's nice.

Your fairy is called Hex Icefilter
She is a bone chilling bringer of justice for the vulnerable.
She lives in places hexed and tainted by black magic.
She is only seen on midsummer's eve.
She wears black feathers and rose petals. She has icy blue butterfly wings.
Anything I can sing/dance to. not in public, mind you - just something that makes me happy. And that could be anything from country to rock, to classical. It all depends.
Movies
ANY modern western... Duvall is too damn cool. ANY GOOD horse movies work fine too... otherwise...
Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Edge, Indiana Jones, so... think action & a little fantasy. Good stuff.
Television
When there's time for that I am a discovery channel junkie. Deadliest Catch is unbelievable & Dirty Jobs is funny, outside of that House, NCIS and lots of cartoons (I have a 6 year old after all.) - Foster's home for Imaginary Friends, The Angry Beavers, Chowder, Camp Lazlo... OH, and when it is available to me, I drive everyone nuts with RFD-TV - which isn't the case NOW since we don't have a satellite.
Books
Anything that has to do with horse training or care. Anything by Jerry Harju or Bill Shoemaker, Tolkien, the Harry Potter series was alright too.and Also, tips I can find to be more crafty or hunting strategies. I'm also starting to look into leather crafting & saddle making... yes, a new project in the works.. I'll post pics when I get started. I like to read the Porcupine Press, and do word games as well.
Your soul is painted the color blue, which embodies the characteristics of peace, patience, understanding, health, tranquility, protection, spiritual awareness, unity, harmony, calmness, coolness, confidence, dependability, loyalty, idealism, tackiness, and wisdom. Blue is the color of the element Water, and is symbolic of the ocean, sleep, twilight, and the sky.
OH SO MANY!!! My family for starters. Then, Dona(who is like family in my heart), Chris Cox, Stacy Westfall, and most of the incredible horsemen and women that I've met or would like to meet.

About me: I am married to the boy I fell for in 7th grade.
We have a 6 yo. son, and a newborn son (Born Jan. 12th, 'o9). We have been married since June of 2001 and we were married on Mackinac Island, by my Uncle Dave, in front of a hedgerow of lilacs in full bloom - on what would have been my grandparent's 70th wedding anniversary, no less! I have wanted to move to the UP since I was a kid, and I have my hubby convinced it's the place for us - so watch out, here we come!!!
I am a horsewoman. Outside of my family it is my passion. I like training green horses, and trying to re-train ones that were misused or abused. I also teach riding lessons that center on safety and common sense. I like to teach my students how to be safe with their horses both in an arena, and on the trail. I do NOT have any lesson horses at the moment, but I do have 3 quarter horses that I own, care for, and work or train ... Velvet is my 7 year old AQHA black bay mare, Trixie is a 3 year old Palomino grade mare, and Little Dona is a 2 year old buckskin AQHA filly. Also on the farm is my son's 20-something chocolate palomino shetland pony - Champ, my mother's pair of Paints: Wheezy is a 16 year old Bay overo, and Rosie is a 5 year old Black overo mare.
We breed Old English Sheepdogs in a joint venture with my mother. To all the folks that have done business with us thus far - thanks for giving such great, loving homes to the pups we've loved so much - and don't forget to email some update pictures! I love to see them, and sooner or later, I may post them! :)
Who I'd like to meet: Well, I'd like to meet mostly horsemen. I love Chris Cox - (who, I DID meet already - super nice fella.)Stacey Westfall, and Monty Roberts. Other than that, not much of anyone. Most celebs aren't nearly as good as they seem to be once you meet them, and I have very little I'd ever want to say to them, or ask them, so I'll keep it with those that I have a common bond.
THANKS!!! we just found out last Friday & haven't had time to make any appT's fer the dr yet...that is on Monday's task list =) but as far as we can guess 5 or 6 weeks...so just watching the caffeine & the million other things until we get the final word....we are SOOooOOo stoked & happy about it though!!! I think the grandparents are even more so!!! I'll try & keep everyone updated!!!
