Qauntum Fantay found its origin in 2002. It's a unique mixture of space, goa, rock, fusion, dub and bombastic and progressive melodies. It is an event itself to see Quantum Fantay live with their great light effects.The power and energy they bring into their performances on stage is rarely seen.

Quantum Fantay released their debut album Agapanthusterra in 2005 followed by some first international gigs,the Prog Convention 2006 in Verviers and a Taste of Belgium.

2007 saw the release of Ugisiunsi, wich was recorded the year before at "Pete's Mushroom land" studio.The guitar on the album was played by Macedonian session player Srdjan Vucic.Vucic did some live promotional gigs also with the band but ended the co-operation soon opening back the door again for Dario Frodo. With Frodo back on guitar they played the Burg Herzberg festival in Germany for over more than 5000 people! The show was recorded live and released on double-cd.

After some great concerts at Symforce at the Netherlands, the European tour, the Lokerse feesten Belgium and massive airplay on international rockradio, the 3th studio album Kaleidothrope was released in 2009. At that summer the boys played one of the biggest progressive rock festival in the United States of America followed by Summer's end in the United Kingdom. Unfortunately Charles Sla decided to stop doing live shows .He still records for the studio albums.

Bridges of Kukuriku,their last studio album released in the autumn 2010 is their most technical & progressive record yet.Gathering influences from metal,dance,electro,dub & even disco !Most of the songs were played at live shows.One of them is registrated live, released as Bridges of the old fishingmine.A great live recording !
