Ever since I was a little girl growing up in Indiana, I would pour over the movie star biographies of the stars from the 40's, 50's and 60's. Enthralled with the glamour, wit and humor of the great films and their stars. Playing over and over were the great big band singers like Doris Day, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Eartha Kitt. Contemporary influences are Diana Krall, Michael Bubble, Beyonce, Christine Agulera, Madonna, Harry Connick Jr., Bette Midler, Cher, KD Lang...and the beat goes on!
