Helsinki-based instrumental improvisational group Neue Haas Grotesk show themselves off as a diverse combo on their first outing. The trio, compromising two guitars and a drumkit, craft everything between droney ambient passages, blissful kraut-jams and crashing noise-rock as easily as Jyrki Nissinen makes up new cultural references and insults. This is pure instrumental anti-rock, utilizing the same rock-instrumentation that got every experimental band in the 60's to 90's labeled as prog or post-rock respectively. What will the punters say of Neue Haas Grotesk? Fuck that! Yr nervous-system is about to get a total meltdown from the ecstatic jams on this one. 5 songs in 25 minutes. Ten Years of Candy features tracks from "OLD" Candy Cane, Indie-Rock / Post-Punk-oriented CC. These tunes are a big part of CC's history, from year 1995 to 2005. After the year 2005, when the original drummer left the band, CC decided to change their music style entirely. They never played "the old" songs again. They never called the album 'Leave Me Out' (released by Keinu Records) as their debut album. They never wanted to sound the same again. End of story... So, this is a rare experience back to 'old school Candy Cane'. And yes, it's almost a bootleg, paper covers etc. Approved by the band itself. All songs are remastered.

Walkabeat makes beats and compositions out of soundscape recordings. He captures the sonic atmosphere which can be heard every day and turns it to something new. A stupid experiment to write and record new songs as quickly as possible (i.e 24 hours). Filthy punk, jazz, failed attempts, I don't know, cool shit. 8 new songs in under 10 minutes. Very limited release of 25 copies. So be fucking quick if you want this. Released at Sideffest 2008.
1234567890 makes repetitive noise with drums and guitar. It's not going anywhere. It's stuck. 'Elvis' is a few minutes longer than the old Maiden albums, but doesn't sound like them at all. It's just duo jam sessions, sampled and twisted to pervection.

There are four 'Alma' sessions recorded. This is the first session, known as '0'. Recorded live in rehearsal place. Line up: Jani Riihimäki (The Polka Dot Sunflower Bed Orchestra, Body Odour etc.) and Cahier frontman Marko Neuman. The two performed only one improv show in Tampere, Finland 2008. This is one of those haunting 'Alma' moments captured in 16 minutes.
