Music
I am a romantic at heart and like ballads and pure voices, like Beyonce, Mariah, Whitney, Barbra, Celine, etc.
I also like R&B, some trance and techno, and dance music. I don't care for country, unless they are crossover, and I don't like heavy metal - screaming. I do like some light rapping as background, and love the oldies.
Movies
Anything truly comedic, romance, thrillers and blockbuster movies. Like foreign films too if they are subtitled. I don't like slasher movies or gratuitous sex or violence in any movie.
Television
I loved Sex and the City, Absolutely Fabulous (BBC), Gilmore Girls and Friends. I will watch just about any sitcom, but love the old ones, like Lucy. Don't watch much TV now, except for Desperate Housewives and American Idol.
Books
Thrillers, comedy, romance, bodice rippers, mysteries, both fiction and non, and true crime. I am a voracious reader and usually have 2-3 books going at the same time.
Heroes
Anyone that goes above and beyond their limits. Anyone who shows integrity when no one was watching or would have never known. Kind people. People who never let go of the joy in life.
